Getting started

1. 1Create an account and sign in.
2. 2Make a key on your API keys page.
3. 3Send it in the X-API-Key header.
4. 4Call any endpoint below.

Authentication

Every request needs your key in a header:

Rate limits

Limits are per key, per hour. Past the limit, requests get a 429 until the next hour starts.

New keys start on Free.

Endpoints

• GET/v1/videos

  List movies, with paging, filters and sorting.

• GET/v1/videos/:id

  One movie, with its scores and what viewers said.

• GET/v1/videos/:id/ratings

  The public rating history for a movie.

• GET/v1/genres

  Every genre.

• GET/v1/trending

  Movies trending now.

• GET/v1/recommendations

  Picks for the key’s owner. Takes strategy, limit and offset.
